It’s 56 degrees in Austin, Texas (that’s legit winter temps for you Non-Texas folk). The overcast drizzly atmosphere works to lull the city into a somber mood. For the average person this might seem like a good day to stay in bed a few extra hours, take a long nap, go watch a movie or sip hot cocoa. But we’re not average.

CrossFit Central, like all CrossFit affiliates are seeking excellence. We are a driving force that is changing the very fabric of our current existence. What are the CrossFit Central coaches up to on a dreary day like this? Classes began @ 5:30am, rain or shine. In the span of 1 day we will touch over 500 lives, not including visitors to our websites and other social networks. Between personal training sessions and their own training coaches blog, email, check rosters, communicate with clients and get work done on the computer. This afternoon all coaches and staff will meet up for the weekly “semester training” where they learn how to introduce a new client, group dynamics, marketing, recruiting, client retention and more. This is not a job, it’s a way of life.

Sitting in a Garage Gym Blueprint meeting this morning Jeremy Thiel says “CrossFit Affiliates Will Change the Nation” We empower, inspire and direct people to realize what they’re capable of, not just in the box, but in their everyday lives. What we provide gets in the crevices of our client’s minds. The impact we make carries through the hours of their day, into their families, into the work place and into their communities. It is the CrossFit affiliate community that is leading the charge to transform the way people eat, live and think.
