The Splinter Effect II
Keep Your Coaches
Type I – Entrepreneurs
Entrepreneurs will do what they want, regardless of your business plans UNLESS they see they can see opportunity and vision inside your business. They need to realize that they will be able to use their entrepreneurial skill sets inside your business.
Type II – People that love CrossFit and want to coach full time
The reason they will leave your box is because their ideas aren’t heard or they are discontented.
You could be one conversation away from making your box and your coach’s lives more powerful or having them leave your gym.
So what do you do? You’re the business owner and have created the vision for your company, you’re way is the right way, right? The short answer à Collaborate. Listen to your team’s thoughts, ideas and opinions and work together to come up with a solution. This method is in direct opposition to telling someone what to do, or giving them a checklist to cross off. Collaborating with team members who are on board with your vision ensures that everyone has a piece in the creation. This further encourages loyalty to your business and your team member’s will be more vested in the success of the program.
