Jeremy Thiel recently posted his training plan for the 2010 Regional Competition at GSX. He mapped out his training schedule, eating and more to be sure he was prepared both mentally and physically for the upcoming competition. We also create calendars and detailed maps for our garage gym business, it takes the guess work out of running a box, and allows us to reach out goals.
For the overall business:
We set out 90 day, 6 month & 12 month goals for each program. This includes the number of clients, revenue, and the opening of new programs
Jeremy also works with our Business Operations Manger to forecast revenue each month and also 12 months out
For events:
We map out a detailed calendar every 120 days and have a shell calendar for the entire year. At this point we know what our weekends in December will look like.
For Marketing & the Website:
We map out our posts for the website, when we order gear for challenges, events, and for the gym. This helps us to make more detailed posts on our website and research articles and links to include in the post. This also ensures we don’t let things slip through the cracks.
Throw this all together into one big business plan – what does it do for us? It keeps us all on track as we grow from a Mom & Pop operation to a large scale company. We no longer operate on chance and randomized occurrences; instead, our business is run with purpose and intention.
