Check out pictures, videos and more here.
Putting on a great CrossFit event is no easy task. It takes a ton of hard work and planning to pull it off. So what makes a great CrossFit event?
- 1. Communication prior to the event – workouts, time lines, maps, etc
- 2. Good programming
1st and foremost challenging yet balanced workouts for the athletes, keeping in mind the spectators and crowd - 3. Knowledgeable volunteers & judges
- 4. Music to keep the athletes and spectators motivated
- 5. Communication throughout the event – time lines, where to find scores, etc
The X Factor – Entertainment
Most people don’t think about entertainment or the “feel & energy” of the event when planning. But it’s what keeps the crowd motivated and the athletes going. You have to keep the energy high during the entire competition and this comes from the coaches & volunteers at the event.
