Closed Class Model vs. Open Class Model

How do you run classes at your box? Do you charge a set price and let clients come whenever they want? The majority of affiliates charge a set fee and let clients come as many times as they want, whenever we want. We found that this wasn’t the best option for a few reasons:

  • You can’t successfully track clients & create a close community feel in each class once you get above a certain number
  • For a businness owner, you never know who is coming and who isn’t – sometimes you might show up to class and zero clients show up – that’s a waste of could-be productive time
  • This can ultimately lead to burn out

If you create a closed class model you can better structure your businness and your time. You know exactly who is signed up and should be attending each class and you will know exactly how much revenue each class will generate. This will also help develop your coaches as successful leaders and create community within each class.
