Get Your Mind Right:

Any time you set out to take action and go after your goals, resistance will rise up. Suddenly it will seem as though other “things” in your life will begin to pull you in many directions and lead you off your path. Maybe it’s other opportunities, doubt, fear or the feeling of being overwhelmed. All of these lead you to IN-ACTION. As you set out on this entrepreneurial journey – you need to make sure that you get your mind right!

Pay attention to where the resistance is coming from, daily. Work to weed it out of your life. If you cannot weed it out, change the way you respond or interact with it and ultimately change your mindset. Your vision should be clear. Your mission, goals and objectives should be properly charted and you should have a laser sharp focus on your business, so much so that you cannot be deterred.

Most powerful thing you can do → Model.

Your business is not a beautiful and unique snowflake. Look at successful people and businesses that you would like to emulate and model yourself and your business after them. The fastest and simplest way to progress is by learning from successful individual’s mistakes, failures and achievements.

Develop your entrepreneurial mind by looking to successful businesses, people, systems and structures and learn from them. Read books by these successful individuals or listen to audio and do it repeatedly every day. Schedule it in your planner if you have to – just do it!

Books to Plug Into:
  • Slight Edge
  • Think and Grow Rich
  • How to Win Friends and Influence People

Have you read these? Read them again. Each time you pick up these books your business should be in a new position, entering a new phase or transitioning. This is why you’ll find something new every time you plug into one of these.

The key to this entire project – consistency. How badly do you want your dreams to become your reality? How dedicated are you?

Time to go to work.
